On Thursday, the NY state Department of Labor will release jobs numbers for the month of August, including region-by-region looks at what sectors performed best and worst.
Unemployment numbers will be released on Sept. 20.
Westchester County director of economic development Larry Gottlieb said last week that he expects the county’s unemployment rate to hover in the upper 6 percent range for the next several months.
